Pamela Rivas Iaconi, lovingly known as Pam, born July 15, 1957 in Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family and dear sister, Lyn. Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Nini), sister, aunt, and wonderful friend. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, positivity, laughter, and a love that was always felt.
Pam graduated from Alexis I. DuPont High School in 1976 and was employed by Wilmington Trust for several years. However, the role she enjoyed most was being a mother and grandmother.
Her spiritual life was an important part of who she was. With an open heart and thoughtful spirit, Pam was drawn to practices that brought peace and connection. She believed in the power of energy, kindness, and the unseen bonds that tie people together. She was often a calm in the storm and a comforting presence to those around her.
Pam found joy in life’s simple pleasures—a good cup of coffee with a treat, time spent at the beach, a spontaneous adventure, and moments shared with her four cherished grandchildren whom she loved deeply.
Pam’s life was marked by devotion, warmth, and quiet grace. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connection. She will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elaine Rivas. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kevin J. Iaconi Sr.; her daughter, Melissa DeFlaviis (Daniel); sons, Kevin J. Iaconi II (Brittany) and Ryan C. Iaconi; and her grandchildren, Caleb, Colton, Brielle, and Cameron. Pam also lives on through her siblings, Gail Ann Rivas, Andrea Dickinson, Lyn Rivas, Valerie Behmanesh, Andrew Rivas Jr.; and her dear friend, Diane Beatty; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00am – 11:45am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Ashland.
