Nancy Trotto Gamble

Nancy Trotto Gamble, 66, of Newark, Delaware peacefully passed away with her loving husband at her side on Sunday, July 26, 2026.  Born in Wilmington, Delaware on April 26, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Marie (Chickadel) Trotto.

Nancy was a graduate of Thomas McKean High School and was employed as a training officer with several banks in the Wilmington area for 20 years.  She completed her career as a customer service representative with the International Reading Association, having retired after 10 years of service.

Nancy enjoyed crafting and trying her luck with the slot machines at the casinos.  Her greatest pleasure was time spent with her family and vacations at the beach.

Nancy will be dearly missed by her husband of 25 years, Robert L. Gamble.  She is also survived by her extended family and friends, including her cousins, Cheryl Chickadel and Valerie Tanday.

Nancy was predeceased by her brothers, James (Barbara) and Michael Trotto.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Monday, August 3 from 10:00 – 11:00AM.  A Catholic funeral service will begin at 11:00AM, immediately followed by entombment at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington.
