Michele Duffy Trimarco, age 56, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully at her home on April 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 20, 1969, Michele lived a life defined by devotion to her family, a strong work ethic, and a joyful spirit that touched all who knew her.
Michele was a graduate of Wilmington High School, Class of 1987. She dedicated more than 25 years of her professional life to MBNA, continuing her service through its transition to Bank of America. After being laid off, Michele embraced a new chapter with her characteristic resilience and sense of adventure, spending a “gap year” enjoying her love of poker. This passion led her to work as a professional poker dealer at Delaware Park Casino and Harrah’s Casino. In May 2017, she began a new career at Corporation Service Company (CSC), where she served as a client experience analyst and was a beloved coworker known for her commitment and warmth.
A woman of faith, Michele grew up in the Methodist Church and carried her love for the Lord throughout her life. She gave back to her community as Treasurer of the St. Elizabeth Sports Association from 2012 to 2016. Michele was also a proud member of Ben’s Poker Parlor since 2018, where she built lasting friendships over the game she loved.
Michele had a vibrant personality and a gift for bringing people together. She loved playing cards with her family, and traveled throughout the East Coast to participate in poker tournaments. She found great joy in hosting gatherings, making meals, and decorating, particularly during her cherished annual Christmas Eve celebration. Michele was a devoted supporter of her children and extended family, spending countless hours cheering at games and serving as the trusted bookkeeper for travel baseball and softball teams. A passionate sports fan, she was especially devoted to the Philadelphia Phillies and loved attending games at Citizens Bank Park.
Above all, Michele treasured the time she spent with her family, partner, and many friends. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Irene Duffy and Charles Duffy.
She is survived by her beloved children, Leighton Trimarco and Hayden Trimarco; her partner, John Reardon; and her siblings, Lisa (Anthony), Keith, Cheryl, Chris, and Timothy Duffy, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 from 9:30AM-11:30AM at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805.
Donations are kindly encouraged to support Michele’s family in organizing a commemorative poker tournament in her honor—an event they hope will continue for years to come. This gathering will bring together friends, family, and all those whose lives Michele touched, offering a meaningful opportunity to share stories, laughter, and love while celebrating her memory. https://gofund.me/8196138ef
