Mark Moran Obituary

Mark Christopher Moran passed away on July 4, 2026, in West Grove, Pennsylvania, at the age of 55.

He was born on February 22, 1971, in Middle Village, New York, and from the beginning he brought a bright spirit and a strong sense of purpose to the world around him. Mark lived a life marked by intelligence, humor, and adventure, and he was deeply loved by all who knew him. He carried himself with quiet strength and a warm presence that made others feel welcome, valued, and understood.

Mark was the beloved husband of Denise Moran and the devoted father of Declan and Connor Moran. He was a loving son to Dorothy Moran and a cherished brother to Denise, Donna, James, Stephen, and Corey. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins both here and in Ireland, all of whom held a special place in his heart. His family was central to his life, and he took great pride in being present for the people he loved. He was especially devoted to his boys, and some of his happiest moments were spent sharing time with them and building memories that will be treasured forever.

Mark pursued his education and training through the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School, where he developed the discipline, knowledge, and work ethic that would guide him throughout his life. He went on to become a Licensed Power Plant Operator, a profession that reflected his intelligence, responsibility, and dedication. He was respected for his skill and commitment, and he approached his work with the same steady determination that he brought to every part of his life.

Mark enjoyed music, biking, cars, snowboarding, and hockey with his boys. These interests reflected the energy and enthusiasm he brought to life. Whether he was listening to music, spending time outdoors, admiring cars, or enjoying the excitement of hockey, he found joy in experiences that brought people together and created lasting memories. He especially treasured the time he spent with Declan and Connor, and those moments will remain among the most meaningful parts of his legacy.

He will be remembered as an intelligent, funny, and adventurous man who lived with heart and authenticity. His life was one of devotion to family, commitment to his work, and appreciation for the simple and joyful moments that made life rich. Though his passing leaves a profound emptiness, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
