Marguerite M. (Nolan) Bellini, 81, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Born in Wilmington on August 24, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Florence (Lynch) Nolan.
Margie was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She cherished her role as a loving and devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She was a longtime member of St. Ann’s Parish and a St. Patrick’s Day enthusiast. Margie was also an avid fan of Notre Dame and the Philadelphia Eagles. Later in her life, Margie became employed as a cafeteria staff member at Evan G. Shortlidge School in Wilmington.
Her husband, Louis F. Bellini, passed away on July 17, 2017. Sadly, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Angela Veronica Bellini, who passed away on February 17, 2021.
Margie is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie Bellini; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Nolan and Joan Nolan; her nephews and niece.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Gerald E. Nolan and James. J. Nolan.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 1900 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington on Wednesday, July 22 from 10:00 – 11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Church, Gilpin Avenue and N. Union Streets at 11:30AM, immediately followed by interment at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margie may be made to St. Ann’s Parish, 2013 Gilpin Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware 19806.
