Margaret Mary (Donahue) Groves

Margaret Mary (Donahue) Groves, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Saturday , July 3rd, 2021 after a brief illness.  Margaret was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1939 to the late James and Margaret Donahue.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Charles Groves. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, George Donahue, John Donahue and Patricia Mandelbaum. Margaret is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Quinn (sp. Joseph), Charles, Michael (sp. Judy), Patrick (sp. Denise) and William (sp. Jaime). Margaret is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two siblings, James Donahue and Michael Donahue, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved gardening, listening to music and celebrating Christmas with her family. She will be dearly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held privately.
