Marcella "Marcy" Mulshenock, age 86, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 in her home with family by her side. Born in Wilmington on November 19, 1939 Marcy was the daughter of the late Anthony and Pearl (Swierczewski) Pokoyski.
Marcy attended St. Hedwig's School and Wilmington High School. After marrying her husband George, she was a devoted mother and homemaker. She then worked as a legal secretary for many years. She and George went on to be co-owners of U.S. Electric, Inc.
Marcy loved spending time with her family and friends, celebrating the holidays, playing a game of cards or doing crossword puzzles. She looked forward to annual summer vacations in Cape May with George, her children and grandchildren. Marcy was an active member of the Lazarus Committee at St. Mary of the Assumption.
Marcy is survived by her children, Kenny Mulshenock, Michele Nordmark (Brian), Marie Fenimore (Jim), and Laura Stephenson (Dave); her grandchildren, Kyle and Alex Mulshenock, Brittany Nordmark, Christina Robinson (Luke), Rachel and Ryan Fenimore, Sophia and Ava Stephenson; her sister-in-law, Marcia Pokoyski; along with many other family and friends. In addition to her parents, Marcy was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, George E. Mulshenock, Jr., and her siblings, Geraldine, Frederick and Ronald Pokoyski and Carl Scott.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 from 10AM - 11:45AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12PM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Marcy’s memory to the Ministry of Caring or the charity of your choice.
