Louise K. Wyszynski

Louise (Kennedy) Wyszynski, age 81, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025.

Louise was the cherished wife of Walter Wyszynski Sr. and the beloved mother of Walter Wyszynski Jr., Melinda Lynch, and Michelle Hull. She was the proud “Mom-mom” of five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous joy.

Louise was the heart of every gathering and the steady center of the lives she touched. She was a selfless, warm-hearted, and thoughtful woman, whose nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family. Whether related by blood or by love, countless people saw her as a mother or grandmother figure — a source of comfort, guidance, and unconditional love.

Louise embodied kindness in its purest form — thoughtful, nurturing, and endlessly giving. Her love did not have edges; it was wide enough to hold everyone who needed it. She created comfort the way others breathe — naturally, effortlessly, and with grace.

Her memory will linger in the small, tender moments: in the way she listened with her whole heart, in the softness of her hugs, in the quiet strength she shared without ever calling attention to it. She leaves behind a legacy built not of possessions, but of people who are better, kinder, and more whole because they were loved by her.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, December 1st, 2025 from 10AM-12PM at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE, where a funeral service will be celebrated at 12PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Louise's name to the Minquas Fire Co. #1, 21 North James St., Newport, DE 19804.

Louise will be deeply missed — and forever remembered — in the love she leaves behind.
