Louis W. Taylor, Jr., age 84, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Parkside, PA, passed away peacefully on April 12th, 2025 at the Delaware Hospice Center with his son by his side.
Born in Parkside, PA to the late Louis W. Taylor, Sr. and Dorothy (Ferry) Taylor, Louis attended and graduated from Ridley Park High School, Class of 1958. Louis continued his higher education at Widener University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. Scott Paper was the first company that Louis dedicated his time and talents to and where he remained until his retirement in 1995. He served in various positions over the years, but concluded his time as a Production Control Manager.
In his spare time, Louis enjoyed reading, laughing at comedy TV (MASH, Bob Newhart, Seinfeld and Friends to name a few), antique cars, and watching golf and baseball. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Louis is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Laurene Taylor of Wilmington, DE; his daughter, Laurie Tolino (Mike) of Newark, DE; his son, Keith Taylor (Susan) of Middletown, DE; his grandchildren, Michael Tolino (Christine), Trisha Tolino (Vito), Alyssa Bianchino (Chris), Daniel Taylor (Emily), Nicole Taylor, Gina Taylor; and his great-grandchildren, Olivia, Derek, Hailey, Madison and Gianna.
Services for Mr. Taylor will be private.
