Louis P. Iannarone

Louis P. Iannarone, age 90, of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

Lou was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 7, 1931 to Mary and Joseph Iannarone.  He graduated from Penns Grove High School, Penns Grove, NJ.  After graduation, he served four years as a Marine during the Korean War.  After his discharge, he worked forty years for the DuPont Company at Jackson Lab in Pennsville, NJ.  Lou retired in 1985, and went on to pursue a career working for Resettlers, Inc. as an antique glass appraiser.  Lou was often requested to appraise glass ware for many different organizations.

Lou was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Jean McGill; his brother, Joseph; his sister, Helen Burt.  He is survived by his wife, Stasia (Sroka) Iannarone; his sisters-in-law, Mary Iannarone of Gainsville, GA and Faith Sroka of Newark, DE; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808 on Saturday, June 12 from 10:00-11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the visitation.  Interment will be held privately.
