Linda (Giles) Vorhees

Linda G. Vorhees, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Hockessin, Delaware, at the age of 77. She was born on March 21, 1948, in Roanoke, Virginia.

Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carl Vorhees; her son, Damon Vorhees, his wife Sarah and grandson Donovan; and her daughter, Karen Zerby and husband Mat.

Linda will be remembered for her love of all things in nature and especially her many cats.

Visitation will be held at Doherty Funeral home on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.
