Leanne R. Peirson

Leanne R. Peirson, age 83, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Leanne was born in Yorklyn, DE in 1939 to the late George and Mona Rutter. She attended Conrad High School and became a devoted childcare worker to those in her community.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Ralph “Rocky” Peirson; and her son, William Logan. She will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 20th, 2023 from 10-11:30AM at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A funeral service will begin at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Hockessin Friends Cemetery, 1501 Old Wilmington Road, Hockessin, DE 19707.
