Lawrence B. Dworsky, age 95, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
He was born in Hazleton, PA, son of the late Michael and Anna (Krippe) Dworsky; he served honorably in the US Navy as a medic; and enjoyed a long and successful career as a research technician with the DuPont Company.
Along with his late wife, Agnes, he was involved in local Delaware politics. He also enjoyed attending University of Delaware football games, and was a member of the touchdown club. Lawrence enjoyed the time he spent with his family, and will be remembered fondly for his dry sense of humor.
He is survived by his children, Ryck Dworsky (Dawn), Terriann Shell (George), and Lisa Forrester; his 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, and beloved wife, Agnes (Timko); Lawrence was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernard, Jim, Ed, and Lefty; and his grandchildren, Breinn and Reanna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00am. Interment will be held in All Saints Cemetery.
