Krista Marie Schulte

Krista M Schulte of Wilmington, DE passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, after a brief illness. She was 53 years old. 

Krista loved nature, art, crystals, and music. She was often found humming a song when she was happy. Krista persevered in the face of numerous obstacles. She never let the challenges in her life keep her from showing kindness to others.  

Krista is survived by her son, Kaden Gardner; her niece, Suzanne DeSantis; her stepsisters, Paige DeSantis and Holly Walsh; her brother, Mark Dunn; and her half-sisters, Stacey Fenollol and Lisa Still. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Brown; her stepfather, Donaghey Brown; and her father, Jerry Schulte. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 from 10AM-11AM at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808, where a memorial service will begin at 11AM.
