Kim Victoria (Anderson) DiCampli, 73, of Hockessin, Delaware passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Born on Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California on November 22, 1952, she was baptized at St. Vincent Ferrer in Vallejo, California. Her formative years were spent in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Kim received her Baccalaureate Degree in nursing at New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Massachusetts in 1973. She relocated to Delaware shortly thereafter, where she joined the staff of the Wilmington Medical Center (currently Christiana Care) and served in many capacities throughout their network. Her duties included post-surgical care, perioperative care and pain clinic care. Kim retired from full time nursing in 2015, and continued in a part time role until completely retiring in 2023 after more than 40 years of dedication to her career.
Kim was very talented with crafts and enjoyed cross stitch, painting, knitting, Christmas ornaments and collectibles. Kim was blessed to have several close friends. She loved to travel and regularly went on cruises with friends. She had an avid love for dogs, especially Cocker Spaniels, and is survived by her current dog, Sophie.
Her husband, Benjamin F. DiCampli, passed away on October 14, 2005.
Kim is survived by her two step-sons, Dennis DiCampli and wife, Rebecca, Daniel DiCampli and wife, Lauren; her granddaughters, Sarah, Abigail, Adriana and Gabrielle DiCampli. Kim had a very special relationship with her step-mother, Kathleen Anderson, and was greatly involved with her extended family in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
In addition to her husband, Kim was predeceased by her father, Scott Anderson and her mother, Frances Louise (Meade) Anderson.
Friends are invited to visit at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin on Thursday, June 4 from 9:45 – 10:15AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM, immediately followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
