Kenneth W. Miller, Sr.

Kenneth W. Miller Sr., 61, of New Castle, Delaware passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, February 24, 2025.  Born in Wilmington on March 2, 1963, he was the son of the late James and Beverly (Sherwood) Miller.

Ken was a graduate of A.I. duPont High School and was employed with East Coast Plumbing & Heating Company until his retirement in 2019.  An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed long rides and found peace in the outdoors with nature.  Ken also enjoyed a good cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts, watching various programs on television, and was a Philadelphia Eagles fan. 

His beloved wife, Kathleen (Rollo) Miller, passed away on July 28, 2019.

Ken is survived by his son, Kenneth W. Miller Jr. and wife, Amber; his brother, James R. Miller Jr. and wife, Wendy; his sister, Kathy Benson and husband, Bob.

He was predeceased by his sister, Becky Miller.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Friday, March 7 from 10:00 – 11:00AM.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, immediately followed by interment at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, 525 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark.
