Kathleen M. Brown

Kathleen M. Brown, age 56, of Wilmington, Delaware, formerly of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 28, 1969, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Victor and Marilyn Manuele. She earned bachelor's degrees from Immaculata University and Arizona State University and built her career as a Medical Billing Specialist, where she was known for her dedication and attention to detail.

Kathleen was deeply involved in her community and generously gave her time to organizations that were meaningful to her family. She proudly served as a Girl Scout troop leader and was an active volunteer with the parent associations at her son's school. She also had a lifelong love for all things Disney, finding joy in its stories, traditions, and magic.

Above all else, Kathleen cherished being a wife and mother. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, supporting her son, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always.

Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband, George Brown IV; her beloved son, George Brown V; her parents, Victor and Marilyn Manuele; her brother, Kevin Manuele and his wife, Elessa; her nieces, Nancy and Victoria Manuele; and her parents-in-law, George and Gerri Brown III. She will be greatly missed by her extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, July 17, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. A brief sharing of remembrances will take place at 12:30 p.m.
