Katherine Hogan Jameson

Katherine Hogan Jameson, 75, peacefully passed away while under the care of Vitas Hospice at Harmony at Hockessin on Friday, July 24, 2026. Born in Wilmington on February 25, 1951, she was the daughter of the late William and Marjorie (Miller) Hogan.

Kate was a graduate of Newark High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware. She was employed in the Information Technology industry for many years, having retired as a project manager.

Kate was a talented golf enthusiast and also enjoyed tennis and pickle ball. She loved dogs and owned several Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers through the years.

Her husband, Robert S. Jameson, passed away on September 28, 2025.

Kate is survived by her sister, Elizabeth King and husband, Wayne; her brother, W. Michael Hogan, M.D., and wife, Rosalind Warner, M.D.; her nephews, Brian King and wife, Amanda Reese, Andrew King and wife, Chelsey Fix-King, Tyler Hogan and Scott Warner; her nieces, Emily Lyons and Erin Hogan; her great nephews, William Lyons and Lucas King; her great nieces, Madison Lyons, Agatha Warner and Ada King.

The family would like to thank the staff at Nurturing Angels, Harmony at Hockessin and Vitas Hospice for the loving and compassionate care given to Kate.

Funeral services and interment at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
