Julia A. (Stearrett) Prucino

Julia Prucino, age 100, of Ocean View, DE, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.
She was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Francis and Julia (Dugan) Stearrett and was a graduate of Wilmington High School.
Judy dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed reading; painting with watercolors; and gardening – tending to her tomato and pepper plants up through the fall of 2024.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Pritchard and Karen Turner of Dover, DE, and Kristine (David) Muto of Ocean View, DE; as well as nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Prucino.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00am. Interment will be held in All Saints Cemetery.
