John N. Pasquale, Jr.

John N. Pasquale, Jr., 68, of Elsmere, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Born in Wilmington on June 4, 1957, he was the beloved son of the late John N. Pasquale, Sr., and the firstborn grandchild of the late Frances (Tuttoilmondo) Pasquale, who together lovingly raised him.

John was a dedicated public servant, most recently as a member of the Delaware State Board of Elections and a proud retiree of the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services.

A lifelong space enthusiast, he enjoyed documentaries and sci-fi shows that dared to imagine what lies beyond our stars. He also loved anything involving planes, trains, and automobiles, with a special fondness for American-made cars and the simple joy of a long drive. After retirement, John hoped to travel to all the National Parks. A journey he looked forward to, but sadly, never had the opportunity to take.

John is survived by his wife, Karen, his daughter, Frances, his brothers Michael and Anthony, his loving aunt and godmother, Joan DiGirolamo, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren, who will remember him for his unmistakable wit and unique sense of humor that could catch you off guard in the best way. He was known to say “You’re going to miss me when I’m gone,” a line that now lands with both a smile and a sting.
