John P. Facciolo

John P. Facciolo, 64, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by loving family and friends, on Saturday, October 24, 2020.  Born in Wilmington on May 11, 1956, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Katherine (Markowski) Facciolo.

John was employed as an EMT with GEM Ambulance Service.  He was a devoted 20 year member and volunteer with the Elsmere Fire Company. 

John will be dearly missed by his wife of 39 years, Paula (Bernardo) Facciolo; his children, Melissa Facciolo, Anthony Facciolo and Mark Facciolo.  He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Marvel; his nephews, Eric Marvel, Jason Marvel, Bruce Marvel, Jacob Curry and Matthew Curry; his niece, Crystal Curry.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Rosemarie Curry; his brother-in-law, Joseph Marvel.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service in honor of John at the Elsmere Fire Hall, 1107 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere on Saturday, November 14 at 11:30AM.  

In compliance with COVID-19 directives, face masks and social distanced seating are required at the memorial service.
