Jeffrey Faron Durham

Jeffrey Faron Durham of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, curiosity, laughter, and love.

Born in 1960 and raised in the Brandywine Valley by parents Davis and Harriet Durham, Jeff was a proud member of the Wilmington Friends School Class of 1978. Possessing an exceptional intellect and an insatiable curiosity, he was often described – accurately – as "too smart for his own good."

Jeff co-founded and was co-owner of Aztec Printing & Design, with his lifelong friend and business partner Ed Dwornik, where he spent decades helping businesses, organizations, and friends bring their ideas to life. His commitment to quality, attention to detail, and innovative thinking earned him the respect of clients and colleagues alike. He especially loved supporting a wide array of charities in Wilmington and beyond with pro bono design and printing services.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeff enthusiastically embraced life. He was an avid traveler whose favorite destination was the island of St. Lucia, a place he considered his second home. Whether enjoying its beaches, sunsets, or simply its slower pace of life, Jeff found peace and happiness there and eagerly anticipated every return visit.

Jeff was an accomplished home chef and true connoisseur in the kitchen. He delighted in preparing memorable meals for family and friends, believing that good food was best enjoyed around a table filled with conversation, laughter, and the people he loved most.

Jeff was always surrounded by multiple adored cats that luckily found their way into his life and a mutual admiration society.

Above all, Jeff treasured his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Lundstrom; his cherished “adopted” children, Olivia and Will; his sister-in-law, Lisa Bryson with Roger Bryson and their daughter, Isabel; his siblings, Dee (aka Mud)(husband Barry Evans) and James (wife Sandy Beckwith), with fond memories of his predeceased older brother, Davis (wife Pansy Allen Durham), along with nieces and nephews Matt, Lindsay, Lauren, Ryan, Eliza and Jack. He also leaves behind many lifelong friends, former colleagues from Aztec and beyond, and countless others whose lives were enriched by his generosity, humor, and friendship.

Jeff will be remembered for his quick wit, sharp mind, adventurous spirit, and unwavering loyalty. His bedrock values of fairness and care for all humans regardless of origin, status or color were a personal testament to Quaker origins. His ability to make people laugh, challenge conventional thinking, and prepare an extraordinary meal made him one of a kind. He leaves behind memories that will continue to bring smiles to others for years to come.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those wishing to honor his memory to share a meal with loved ones, explore a new destination or revisit a favorite one, and raise a glass to a life well lived.  For those wishing to make a gift in Jeff’s memory, the following are suggested:
