Jeanine Walker Obituary

Jeanine Marie Walker died on September 11, 2020 at age 50. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1969.

Jeanine graduated from Alexis I. DuPont High School, where she was in the marching band, and attended Delaware Tech. She worked at ACME Supermarket, Hockessin in the bakery for many years and became skilled in the art of cake decorating amongst other tasks.

Jeanine loved sports, was a very capable tennis player and attended her nieces’ and nephews’ soccer games as often as possible. She was an avid supporter of the Flyers and Phillies. For fun, Jeanine liked the sea shore, camping and attending rock concerts.

Jeanine is survived by her Mother, Marie Louise Walker; her Father, Peter Walker; her partner, Thomas Miller; her brothers, David P. Walker (Leslie), Richard A. Walker (Joanne), Geoffrey T. Walker (Kate) and James P. Walker (Cassie); her sister, Suzanne M. Walker; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Danielle J. Brunk.

Services will be private due to COVID-19 restrictions.  For those invited to attend remotely, please access the livestream feed in the service details below. 

Jeanine’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the many supportive medical staff that took care of her during these past few years.
