Jacqueline Delores (Borkowski) Case

Jacqueline D. Case, age 75, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

She was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Jesse and Frances (Maykut) Borkowski, and was a 1965 graduate of Conrad High School. Jackie married James Case on February 1, 1969, and they started their family shortly thereafter. Jackie loved being a stay-at-home mom and was always there for her daughters attending all of their school and sporting events. When her daughters were older, she returned to work making many friends until she retired.

Jackie was a devout Catholic and devoted parishioner of St. Matthew’s Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially hosting them for the holidays. Above all else, Jackie was the matriarch and caregiver for the family – selfless in all that she did. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her beloved husband of 53 years, Jim Case, she is survived by her daughters, Michelle Ferguson (Matt), Melanie Klosiewicz (Tom), and Mary Beth Case (Pat); her grandchildren, Sal, JJ, Ryan, Sarah, Thomas, Rylee, James, John, Reagan, and Leah; her brother, Bob Borkowski; and many other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at St. Matthew’s Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804, where family and friends may visit beginning at 9:30am. Interment will be held privately in All Saints Cemetery.
