Obituary
Howard Carter Kresge (“Carter”) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 8, 2023. He was 75 years old. Born in Pennsylvania on August 22, 1947, Carter was a beloved son of Howard and Irene Kresge.
In addition to his parents, Carter was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Stephani. He is survived by his three children, Janine Weaver (Tim), Brant Kresge (Tammy) and Zachary Kresge (Megan), sister Marlene Ryder and brother, Randall Kresge. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Carter was a 1967 graduate of Penn Morton College (Widener University) with a degree in Chemistry. He was previously employed at Delmarva Power & Light Company. Carter was an avid crossword puzzle solver, he loved to cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles and he took great pride in his wood working skills.
