Helen Marion Mullins

Helen Marion Mullins, 92, of Newark, passed on November 16, 2022. Helen was born on May 15, 1930 in Bridgeton, NJ. and was raised in the town of Shiloh.

Helen (Mummum) especially loved spending time throughout the years with her children and grandchildren along with her Golden Retrievers and Kitties.  She enjoyed her years on Anchorage Avenue, South Bethany where she met many good friends and entertained her family.  Later, in life, she lived with her daughter, Patty, son-in-law and granddaughters, which was a blessing for her and Patty’s family.  Helen also enjoyed her time watching the boats sail bye at Bethany Marina with her daughter, Terri.  Helen loved meeting and talking with people and everyone who met her felt special.

Helen was predeceased by her parents, Albert R. Davenport and Frances (Emma Loveland) Davenport, her husband, Rodman F. Mullins, Sr. and brother Robert Davenport, Sr.  Helen is survived by her children, Terri Mullins Young, Rodman F. Mullins, Jr. (Cindy), Patty Ann Muellenberg (David), Joseph J. Mullins, Sr. (Kim) along with her grandchildren, Joseph, Jr. (Tory), Catie, Christina, Meagan (Jonathan), Courtney and Jonathan, 3 great grandchildren, her brothers, James Davenport (Pat) and Kenneth Davenport (Cookie) and many nieces and nephews.

Mass will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE 19711.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Center, 107 East 14th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801or their website at www.stpatrickscenter.org/donate.
