Eugene J. Talarico, 92, of Landenberg, Pennsylvania peacefully passed away Wednesday February 11, 2026. Born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania on July 8, 1933, he was the son of the late Gabriele and Sarah (Cerra) Talarico.
Gene was a veteran of the Korean War, achieved the rank Sergeant and earned three medals, having proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He opened Shore Transmission in Ocean Grove, NJ in 1969 which he owned and operated for 25 years. Gene moved to Florida where he owned and operated Gene’s Transmissions for 10 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley and going to Bike Week in Daytona Beach. He was a World War II model war plane enthusiast and enjoyed travelling, especially to Las Vegas.
Gene is survived by “the love of his life”, his wife of 33 years Susan (Stern) Talarico; his step-daughter Tricia Rinaldi and husband Tony; his step-son Michael Primavera; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Longo and husband Jack, Sharon Smith and husband Chuck, Linda Stitely and husband Syd; brother-in-law Michael Stern; his nephew Dominick Talerico and wife Alicia; as well as many additional nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Telerico.
Family and friends are invited to visit the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Monday, March 2 from 1:00-2:00PM, with funeral services immediately following.
