Edward W. Hom

Edward W. Hom, age 51, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was born in Wilmington, DE on March 22, 1973 to Lena Wong Hom and the late Si Kwong Kim.

Ed was employed by Pep Boys and worked as an automobile mechanic for over 25 years. His work ethic was second to none and he was never late, nor did he miss a day of work. Ed always enjoyed a good party and was the first person to crack a stupid joke and make others laugh. He loved dogs, especially German shepherds. Ed was also an outdoors sports enthusiast and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Ed is survived by his wife Michelle E. (Jones) Hom; mother Lena Wong Hom; son Alexander E. Hom; daughters Rebecca L. Jones and Brianna M. Hom and  brother Andrew Hom. In addition to his late father, Ed was preceded in death by his sister Wendy Hom and uncle, Jim Hom.
