Dr. William V. Kehoe

Dr. William V. Kehoe, age 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Sunrise Senior Living of Wilmington. A dedicated educator throughout his life, Dr. Kehoe taught high school and later served as a college professor, sharing his passion for learning with generations of students.

An avid board and card game competitor, Dr. Kehoe embraced friendly rivalry with enthusiasm and humor. He was a devoted lover of classical music and an enthusiastic collector of books, especially dictionaries, which he treasured for their richness and precision.

Dr. Kehoe was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marylou (Brand) Kehoe. He is survived by his son, Andrew Kehoe (Amanda); his daughter, Melanie Buchanan (Rob); and his cherished grandson, Seth Buchanan.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. Interment will follow at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery, 10 Old Church Rd., Greenville, DE 19807.
