Donna T. (Perregrino) Price

Donna T. (Perregrino) Price, 68, of Wilmington, Delaware peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, May 24, 2026.  Born in Wilmington on June 15, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ursula (Palone) Perregrino.

Donna was a graduate of Corpus Christi Grade School, St. Elizabeth High School and attended the University of Delaware.  She began her working career with Wilmington Trust Company before becoming a devoted homemaker and stay at home mom.  Donna later joined the Red Clay Consolidated School District as a food service staff member, having retired after more than 20 years of dedicated service. 

A devout and spiritual Catholic, Donna was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and prayed the rosary daily.  Her greatest joy in life was time spent with her family, and she cherished her role as a loving wife, mom and mom-mom.  She was also an excellent cook and baker, always happy to prepare delicious creations for her loved ones.

Donna will be dearly missed by her husband of 46 years, William G. Price; her son, William F. Price and fiancée, Lauren Lemon; her daughter, Julia Kitchen and husband, Adam; her precious grandchildren, Kasey Kitchen, Emery Price and William Price.  She is also survived by her brothers, Anthony Perregrino and wife, Betty, Michael Perregrino and wife, Charlene, Joseph Perregrino and wife, Kelly.  In addition, Donna is survived by her mother-in-law, Maryanne Price; her 3 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law and their spouses; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Corpus Christi Church, 905 New Road, Elsmere on Tuesday, June 2 from 9:30 – 10:45AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, immediately followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
