Daniel J. Harvey, Jr.

Daniel J. Harvey Jr., age 66, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021; the beloved husband of 25 Years to Monica Harvey. Born and raised in Wilmington DE, Dan earned his Journalism Degree from the University of Delaware. After graduation, he was a writer and editor for various media outlets until he became a freelance writer, editor and author.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Roberta and Daniel. Along with his wife, he is survived by his loving son, David, and husband, Billy; his sisters, Elizabeth (Russ), Diane, Evelyn (Don), Eileen (Bill); and his nieces and nephews, Jason (his godson), Jared, Elizabeth, Drew, DJ (his godson) & Sarah.

Dan greatly enjoyed nature, especially his cats, bird and squirrels. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to Tri-State Bird Rescue, 170 Possum Hollow Road, Newark, DE 19711 or Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Dr., Wilmington, DE 19804 in his name.
