Charles J. Sniadowski

Born May 12, 1988, Charles John Sniadowski passed away at home on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Chuckie attended Holy Angels Grade School and St. Mark’s High School. He worked in several roles using his talent and skill in construction and landscaping.

Chuckie, our “gentle giant,” was kind-hearted, selfless, and empathetic, putting his loved ones before himself. He especially loved spending time with his nephews and cousins - hours spent building elaborate structures, scavenger hunts, playing games and using his creative imagination to entertain the adoring kids in his life. He also enjoyed playing hockey, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and time at the family’s house in North Wildwood. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him remembers Chuckie as a devoted friend whose gentleness, sense of humor, and compassion will be missed by many.

Chuckie is survived by his parents, Chuck and Sharon Sniadowski of Newark; brother, John Michael and nephew, Lucas; sister, Heather Flanagan (Tommy) and nephew, Gabriel; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins of the Sniadowski and Kohute families. Chuckie will also be dearly missed by his loving friend, Samantha Pritchard and her children, Connor and Corryn.

Chuckie was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Betty Sniadowski, Michael and Josephine Kohute; and uncles, John and Bobby Sniadowski.

Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4th Street and Bancroft Parkway, Wilmington on Saturday, February 1 from 9:30 – 11:30AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM.  Interment will be held privately.
