Carolyn E. (Golden) Kozlowski, 85, of Newark, Delaware passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 surrounded by members of her family.
Carolyn was born in Wilmington, Delaware on August 3, 1939, daughter of the late Joseph and Constance (Cieszynski) Golden. A graduate of St. Elizabeth High School, she went on to marry her husband of 55 years, the late William Kozlowski Jr., and raise her family of three sons. As her sons grew and got older, she worked for many years at Sears, Prices Corner and later worked summers at the Delaware Seashore State Park, a job she truly enjoyed.
Carolyn enjoyed traveling with her family, spending time at the beach, and fishing with her husband and son. One of her favorite things was being in the kitchen, cooking and baking, which was enjoyed by her entire family. When she was able, Carolyn liked being outdoors caring for her azalea and rose bushes. She loved life and tried to make the most out of every day, always enjoying a beautiful sunrise or sunset.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, William Kozlowski Jr. and her brother, John Golden.
She is survived by her three sons, William M. Kozlowski of Wilmington, Delaware, Robert F. Kozlowski of Millville, Delaware, and Michael J. Kozlowski and his wife, Karen of Landenberg, Pennsylvania; along with her granddaughters, Emma and Erin.
Funeral services and entombment for Carolyn will be held privately.
