Carolyn E. Dawson

Carolyn E. Dawson, age 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026.  Born at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. Dawson and Carolyn (Schulz) Dawson.

Carolyn grew up on the family farm in Unionville, Pennsylvania and graduated from Unionville High School and Goldey-Beacom College. She spent her professional accounting career with Hercules retiring after 40 years of service.

Carolyn was an avid golfer serving on the Board of the Hercules Ladies Golf Association and organizing the Ladies Charity Golf Classic for Breast Cancer Awareness.  She loved animals and participated in showing dogs. She is survived by her sweet rescue, Robbie.

Carolyn is survived by her brothers, Paul Richard Dawson (Brenda) and David Dawson all of Baytown, TX.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Paulette Dawson and her brother, Robert Dawson.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Monday, March 16 from 10:00 – 11:00AM, with a remembrance service immediately following.
