Carole Jean (Glanden) Robinson

Carole Jean Robinson, age 67, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Carole was born in Wilmington, daughter of Shirley (Humphrey) Glanden and the late Warren Glanden. She was a 1975 graduate of McKean High School; and enjoyed a 45-year career with Christiana Care, ultimately working as a lead technician in cyber-knife at the Helen Graham Cancer Center.

Carole was a member of Marshallton United Methodist Church; and enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, and completing her daily “wordle” puzzle. She will be remembered for being a great friend and for helping others.

In addition to her mother, Shirley, she is survived by her siblings, Joanne “Cricket” Cullen (Thomas), Duane Glanden, and Sandy Harper (Jesse); Sharon Christopher; her nieces and nephews, Jared Fulk, Justin Dinnsen, Christopher Harper, Stephanie Walter (Mike), and Kelly Harper (Trevor); her grand-nephew, Jasper Keys; as well as many members of her extended family and close friends.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:30am on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:30am.
