In Loving Memory of Cara Feeley

With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Cara Sage Feeley, who left this world on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, just three days before her 18th birthday. Though her life was far too short, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her. Cara was a strong-willed young woman with a gentle and compassionate soul. She cared deeply for others and extended kindness to everyone she met. Whether comforting a friend, helping a stranger, or caring for animals, Cara's empathy knew no bounds. Her generous spirit and caring nature left a lasting impression on all whose lives she entered. She loved fiercely and wholeheartedly. Her boyfriend, friends, and family knew the depth of her loyalty and devotion, as she was always ready with words of support or a purse-candy. Cara's friendships were genuine, and she had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued, understood, and accepted for exactly who they were. Intelligent, creative, and endlessly curious, Cara approached life with wonder and determination. She was an artist with an eye for beauty and style. An avid reader, she was constantly seeking knowledge and understanding, eager to discover the answers to life's many questions. Just as much as she loved learning, she loved sharing what she knew with others. She especially enjoyed spending time with younger children, whom she adored babysitting and mentoring with kindness. Cara's work ethic reflected her determination and independence, as well as at the multiple establishments throughout the Middletown community she worked. Her perseverance extended to her education, where she worked hard to earn her high school diploma early. She was excited about her future and eager to carve out her own path in the world; she was ready to pursue her dreams on her own terms.

Cara is survived by her loving father, Andrew Feeley; her devoted mother, Heather Feeley; her beloved grandparents, Amelia and Albert Feeley, and Spencer Harris; and her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who adored her and will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, DeeAnn Harris; and her great-grandparents, Edward and Clara Ignudo, Herbert and Fay Harris, and Jean DeLoe.

Though her time on earth was brief, Cara's life was filled with purpose, love, curiosity, and compassion. She taught those around her the importance of kindness, authenticity, and determination. Her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched and in the memories that her family and friends will carry forever.

A Celebration of Life Gathering and Service will be held at the Volunteer Brewing Company, 116 West Main Street, Middletown, Delaware 19709 on Tuesday, June 30 from 4:00 - 8:00PM.

A private funeral ceremony will be held for immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that acts of kindness be performed in Cara's memory, reflecting the compassion and generosity she showed throughout her life.
