Brian David Healy passed away unexpectedly at the age of 30 on March 23, 2021. Brian was the beloved son of Diane DeCusatis Healy and John Brian Healy. He was predeceased by his father; his grandparents, John W. Healy, Fred and Sally DeCusatis; his uncle, David Healy; and his aunt and uncle, Pat and Fred DeCusatis. He is survived by his mother, his grandmother, Carol Healy, and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Brian attended St. Elizabeth’s Grade School and was a proud graduate of Salesianum High School. He later received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware where he majored in Criminal Justice and History.
During college and for a time after he graduated from UD, Brian enjoyed his work for local attorney Thomas A. Foley. Brian then began work for and was a valued employee of the Bank of America for the past 5 years in his role as a fraud analyst.
Brian was a kind and gentle giant who never met a stranger. He was caring and friendly to everyone, and he fiercely loved and was grateful for his family. His smile and larger than life personality lit up the room and would brighten your day. He would do anything to help anyone who needed it. He loved and was adored by all the children in his life. Brian also loved watching sports and was a fan of the Eagles, Cubs, and Notre Dame.
Family and friends may visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE, on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 4-6pm. Guests will be required to wear a facemask and be mindful of social distancing practices while in attendance.
