Anthony "Buck" James Paulman

Anthony James Paulman, “Buck”, age 64, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 14, 2023.

He was born in Wilmington, son of the late George and M. Anne (Speakman) Paulman. He served in the US Navy and worked as microfabrication specialist at Siemens and then as a chemical process technician at DOW.

Buck enjoyed scuba diving, taking up interest at a young age. He also enjoyed playing pool, and had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his pet cats. Buck also took great care of his late father, George, for which his siblings were most appreciative.

He is survived by his brother, George “Skip” Paulman; his sister, Suzanne Peoples; and his nieces and nephews, Courtney and Justin Paternoster, and Connor and Brendan Peoples; as well as members of his extended family.

In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Paternoster.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 11:00am – 12:00pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where a memorial service will commence at 12:00pm. Interment will be held privately in All Saints Cemetery.
