Anthony M. Peco, Jr. passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on the evening of April 11, 2026.
Born the third of six children to Anthony M. & Theda P. Peco on July 16, 1952, in Wilmington, DE, Tony was a lifelong resident of the city he called home.
Tony spent many years working at the General Motors Boxwood Assembly Plant, retiring just before its closure in 2009. In his retirement years, he remained true to his hardworking nature, taking on roles as a handyman and in salvage, always most at home with his hands busy.
Tony is survived by his wife of 32 years, Candy Miller-Peco; their children, Michael (Tina), Sarah Patone (Carmen), Lindsay Carrow (Joe), and Christopher; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; his five sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your preferred charity in Tony's name.
There will be a brief Committal Service followed by interment at 11:00 am, June 4, 2026 at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19805.
