Anthony Louis Celli, age 63, of Wilmington DE, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2020 at Christiana Hospital.
Tony was born on May 11, 1957 in Wilmington, DE to Nancy Smith and the late Louis A. Celli. He was a 1976 graduate of William Penn High School. Tony joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1979. He raised his family in Newark and worked as an amazing plumber and HVAC technician. Tony was a life-long member of the NRA, Golden Eagle status. He loved his Second Amendment Right to keep and bear arms. Tony was happiest when he spent time with his grandchildren and loved his family.
Tony is survived by his mother, Nancy Smith of North Carolina; his children, Aaron Celli (Danielle) and Christopher Celli (Jessica Bodine), both of Wilmington, and Stephanie Celli of Philadelphia, PA; his siblings, Bonnie Dixon (Steve) of Stuart, Florida and Jennie Holiskey (Kim Warrington) of Newark; and his 11 grandchildren.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic and limited capacity restrictions, services for Tony will be held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
