Anne E. (Perrone) Herfindahl

Anne E. (Perrone) Herfindahl peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the age of 88.  Born in Wilmington on February 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Edna (Camoirano) Perrone.

Anne is survived by her son, Dean Herfindahl Jr. and wife, Theresa; her daughter, Lynn Truitt and husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Shannon Protas and husband, Mark, Trey Herfindahl and wife, Christine, Francis Pruitt, Andrew Pruitt and Tiffany Manista, Lauren DiRicco and husband, John; as well as 11 great grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Dean R. Herfindahl Sr.; her granddaughter, Alanna Riess; her great grandson, Julian Manista.

Anne was a graduate Conrad High School, class of 1952.  She spent most of her career working at Sears in Prices Corner.  She was a member of St. John the Beloved Parish, where she was active with the outreach program.  Anne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as gardening, reading and cooking.

Family and friends are invited to visit at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Monday, May 16 from 10:00-10:45AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM.  Interment will be held privately in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, May 19.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne may be made to St. Benedict Outreach Program at St. John the Beloved Parish, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
