Andrew Joseph Kempski, age 26, of New Castle, Delaware, passed away suddenly on April 24, 2022. Andrew graduated from St. George's Technical High School and worked for CAG Truck Capital as a Collateral Manager.
Andrew is survived by his mother, Amy Niday and her spouse, David Niday (stepfather); his father, Robert Kempski, Jr. and his spouse, Tabitha Kempski; his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Margie Brown; his paternal grandmother, Diane Kempski; his siblings, Kory Niday, Ryan Niday, Logan Niday, Rachel Kempski, and Brady Kempski; and his former stepmother, Jody Maurer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who were more like brothers and sisters. Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Kempski, Sr., Carmela Kozikowski DiOssi, Wanda Niday, and Rosy Niday.
Andrew was the most charismatic, energetic, and feisty man. He lived life to the fullest, and had the kind of smile that would light up the entire room. He was also one of the hardest working men you would ever meet. Andrew loved his family, girlfriend, and friends with such a strong intensity that will forever be missed. He also had a cat named Pineapple who he spoiled. Andrew also adored his girlfriend, Jillian Daly, and her family more than they know. And one of Andrew's life long passions was fast cars, and racing anyone who was brave enough to rise to the challenge! We all love you so much Andrew; you touched so many lives and you will forever be missed. Until we meet again......
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 4-6pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A memorial service will follow immediately at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) under Andrew Kempski aka "Andrew's Angels". Andrew was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 3 and the JDRF is an organization that means a great deal to his family.
