Oh no, how sad I was to just learn of Willy's passing. We were nerds together in High School, and it is so impressive to read about the most interesting, successful life he has had. I very much enjoyed talking with him and his beautiful wife at our 50th OCHS Reunion, and like Byron Smith, I am very glad I got to see him again after so many years. May Willy rest in peace, and I send my sincere sympathy to his family and loved ones.

Just heard this sad news today. Willy and I were Oswego Catholic High friends and had many philosophical discussions senior year, and many laughs and memories that we were able to share when he came north for our 50th reunion. So glad I had that opportunity to see him one more time... and catch up on his life. He and his family will be in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. We had such a good time playing the saxophone and talking. My studio is filled with his good musical vibes. I will miss him dearly. PEACE

Dear Lee,
Please accept my heart-felt condolences. I cannot imagine the depth of your loss. From all or the stories you have shared and reading about his life, it is obvious that your husband was a wonderful man whom everyone who knew him will miss. I wish there was something to lessen your heartbreak. May God bless you and your family as you mourn.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We graduated RPI in 1969 both in ChemE. I caught up to him again in the 1980s at DuPont in Towanda. Great guy. He will be missed.

Lee and Family, my condolences to you on the passing of Willy. My brother-in-law, Bob Burke, called to give me this sad news. Willy was a wonderful friend to both Bob and my husband, Don, through all these years. I was touched when Willy and Rick Lopez came to visit Don before he passed in 2011. Great friendships!

I know these days are going to be very hard, but know that memories of Willy will give you comfort. "To live in the hearts of those you leave behind, is not to die."

Lee and Rich,
I have just learned about Willy's death and am deeply saddened. I only met him a few times when Rich and Dylan got together, and after reading about his interests and passions, I regret I didn't know him a lot better. What an interesting man.
Words aren't adequate, but I want you to know that you are very much in my thoughts, as well as Rich's family.
