Robert L. D’Aloise, 76, of Wilmington, DE peacefully passed away with loving family by his side on Thursday, September 7, 2017.

Bob was born in Wilmington on March 10, 1941, son of the late Arthur and Mollie (Fusco) D’Aloise.  A graduate of Salesianum School, he attended Temple University and  was employed as a lab technician with Astra Zeneca, retiring in 2002 after more than 38 years of service. 

Bob attended St. John the Beloved Church and was a devoted member of the parish prayer group.  An avid sports fan, he was a golf enthusiast and enjoyed being the number one fan at his grandchildren’s sporting events.  Bob also enjoyed gardening.

Bob will be dearly missed by his wife of 53 years, Joanne (Barbato) D’Aloise; his children, Kristine Kowash and husband, Kaylor, Suzanne Misciagna and husband, David, and Michael D’Aloise; his grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew and Chelsea Kowash, Brandon and Megan Misciagna.  He is also survived by his brother, Arthur D’Aloise (Diane); his brothers-in-law, Joseph Barbato (Bonnie, deceased) and Pat Barbato (Patricia).

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Monday, September 11 from 5:00-7:00PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Tuesday, September 12 at 10:00AM.  Entombment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
