Paul Demetrios Semos

Paul Semos, age 84 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on July 20, 2017. He was born in Kato Hora, Nafpactos, Greece. Beloved husband of Joanne (Petsinis); devoted father of Demetrios Semos and his wife, Mary Dana of Rutledge, PA and Linda Roberts and her husband, Scott of Landenberg, PA; loving Papou of Paul Semos, Niko Roberts and Yiana Roberts; and dear brother of the late Theodore Semos of South Jersey, the late Georgia Likoyanis of Nafpactos Greece, Costas Semos, Voula Harakidas, Margarita Semos and Koula Youlas, all of Nafpactos Greece. Paul came to the U.S. in 1952 and lived in Texarkana, AR, York, PA, South Jersey, and Wilmington, DE, where he resided for the past 43 years. Paul owned the Essex Restaurant in Wilmington, DE from 1974-2004.

 Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00am on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 808 N. Broom Street, Wilmington, DE 19806, where a viewing will be held starting at 10:00am. Interment will be held in Silverbrook Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at the address listed above.
