Maryann Harkins Ciabattoni passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, June 1, 2018.
Maryann was born in Wilmington on November 20, 1935, daughter of the late John and Anna (Marshall) Harkins, and earned an Associate’s Degree from Goldey-Beacom College. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Ciabattoni, Sr., her son, Anthony J. Ciabattoni, Jr., and her brother, Charles Harkins. Maryann loved the Lord and was committed to her faith by living it daily. She was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish and the Jesus House Prayer and Renewal Center. During their retirement years, Maryann and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending time at their vacation homes in Lewes, Delaware and Naples, Florida. For the last seven years, Maryann resided at Cokesbury Village. Her greatest joy was being in the company of her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Maryann will be dearly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Faraldo and husband, Al, and Diann Churchill and husband, David; her grandchildren, William, Abigail, and Jessica Skibinski, and Ian, Jack, Spencer, and Claire Churchill.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive, Wilmington on Friday, June 8 from 10:00-10:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, followed by entombment in All Saints Cemetery.
