Mary Ogden Mullin

Mary Ogden Mullin, age 93, of Wilmington passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018.

Mary was the daughter of the late George and Mary Ogden. She was a stay at home Mom, a member of the Weston Senior Center, as well as, a member of St. John the Beloved Parish.

Mary is survived by her 3 children, Margaret Abbott, Mark Mullin and daughter-in-law Josie Mullin, Marie Byrne and Michael Byrne; 3 grandchildren, Marisa Rice and husband Philip, Zacharias Abbott, Matthew Byrne and wife Stefanie; 3 great-grandchildren, Cora, Kinley, and Hope; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Ogden along with many nephews and their families that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. Mullin.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 7th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Rd., Wilmington, DE at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 8th, with burial at All Saints Cemetery to follow.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and Comfort Keepers for the love and compassion they showed to Mary in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. John the Beloved School.
