Lester was a great guy, and all though we only spoke through facebook I considered him a great friend. I'm deeply sorry for the loss of Lester, I pray his family is comforted knowing he touched so many people with his Beatles Group and artwork. I'll truly miss him.

Although I only stopped by occasionally on Armstrong Avenue I already miss him greatly. First stop daily growing up in Brookland Terrace.

Our deepest sympathies to the John family. Lester and I were the best of friends since age 5. He was my "tenth" brother and the Best Man at our wedding. We will miss him
