Kathleen Ann Conway, age 57, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 21, 2019.
Born in Landstuhl, Germany, Kathleen is the daughter of Pete Callan and Patricia (Donnells) Nawalany. She was a graduate of Pegasus Technical School, which became the Burlington County Institute of Technology, in 1984. Through the years, Kathleen was an administrative assistant for several employers.
Kathleen was devoted to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She treasured being Mommom to her grandsons, Noah and Zayvion. Kathleen loved watching cartoons with them and reading to them. Many special family memories were made with Kathleen’s birthday vacation to Wildwood this past summer with her children and grandchildren. She loved getting together for the holidays with all of her family.
Kathleen will be remembered as a very sweet soul, who was kindhearted and selfless. She always cared for people and put others first before herself. Kathleen had a warm personality and made friends easily wherever she went.
In her leisure time, Kathleen was a good cook, who made the most amazing macaroni and cheese. She loved football and was a diehard Eagles fan. Kathleen also enjoyed watching her favorite soap operas and reading.
Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Veronica L. Nieves and her husband, Jason, and Ashley A. Conway; her grandsons, Noah Williams and Zayvion Conway; her parents, Pete Callan and Patricia (Donnells) Nawalany; her brother, Shawn Callan and his wife, Donna; her sisters, Colleen Smith and her husband, Mike, and Miriam Nawalany; her nephews, Jake Callan, Brendan Smith and John John Nawalany; her niece, Erica Nawalany; her partner of 15 years, Virgil Maness; and her dear friends, Amelia Houghton, Lucy Jurney and Joseph Gold. She will be dearly missed by her beloved cats, Lily and Patches.
She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Conway; her brother-in-law, William Conway (Big Bill); sister-in-law, Denise Gaimari; nephew, William Conway (son of "Big Bill") and his wife, Lindsey, as well as their children, Madison, Alexis, Francesca, and Bianca. Kathleen was predeceased by her former husband, Francis Conway, who passed away in 2016.
Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
