John William Dougherty

John William Dougherty, age 42 passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Newark, DE. 

John was born August 7, 1975. He played football at McKean High School and loved the Cowboys. He was a certified HVAC contractor.

John dearly loved his kids and grandkids.

John is survived by his father, Ronald Sr., his children Jonathan and Kelsey, 2 grandkids, Aubrey and Rashawn; 3 sisters, Ronda (Tom), Sandra, Tracy(John), 1 brother, Ronald Jr., and a  host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eloise, his nephew, Brian and grandson, Ryder.

 All who knew John are welcome to attend a viewing on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 10-11:30 am at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 followed by a funeral service at 11:30. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
